Soup recipes?

i want to make a homemade tomatoes soup


i dont like spicy food or onion just so you know

homemade roasted tomato soup





turn oven on to 225oc


half tomatoes and scoop out seeds


put tomatoes skin side down onto a roasting tray


generesly sprinkle over salt and black pepper and a little finely chopped garlic drizzle over olive oil


roast for about 25 mins or untill the skin peels away easily


scoop out the flesh of the tomatoes and discard of the skin


season to taste and add a teaspoon of olive oil


add a handfull of herbs either parsley, corriander or basil


and the use a hand blender or food proceeser under its the texure you want


heat in a pan


serve with a spoon full of creme fresh and a slice of wholemeal bread or toasted crutons {not fried}

FRUIT SOUP

Yield: 1 Servings





1/2 c Minute Tapioca


1 c Water


4 c Fruit juice*


4 c Fresh,canned or dried fruit


2 tb Honey


1/8 ts Salt


1 md Banana sliced


Vanilla or Almond extract to


Taste





* apricot, pineapple, pear, white grape





Cook tapioca in water and juice until it begins to thicken. Add


remaining ingredients, except banana. If using dried fruit, simmer


until soft, Other fruits will be cooked enough when they come to a


boinl. Serve hot or chilled with banana sliced on top. Delicious


served alone or over cornbread or whole-wheat toast.
Fresh Tomato Bisque Recipe


Ingredients


3 tablespoons butter


1 medium onion, coarsely chopped


2 tablespoons all-purpose flour


2 cups water


4 pounds tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and cut into pieces


2 tablespoons light brown sugar


6 whole cloves


1 teaspoon salt


Freshly ground black pepper


1 cup medium or whipping cream








Instructions


Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add the onion and toss to coat. Stir over medium heat until the onion is tender. Sprinkle on the flour and continue stirring over medium heat until the mixture foams. Stir in the water and bring to a boil. Measure out 3/4 cup of the tomato pieces and set aside. Add the remaining tomato pieces to the boiling mixture. Stir in the brown sugar and cloves. Reduce the heat and cook, uncovered, at the gentle bubble for 30 minutes.





Transfer to a food mill and force through. Return to the saucepan and stir in the reserved tomato pieces. Blend in the salt, pepper, and cream. Place over medium heat and warm gently, but do not boil.
