Any one have a good recipe for French Onion Soup??

2 large vadalia onions


1/4 c. butter


6 beef bouillon cubes(or beef base)


4 c. water


dash pepper


1 tsp Worcestershire sauce


4-6 small slices garlic Parmesan Texas toast (toasted)


12-18 slices provolone cheese





In large sauce pan,cook onions in butter til tender.add bouillon,pepper,water %26amp;worcestershire sauce simmer coverd 20 - 25 minpoure into oven safe bowles put toast on top cover with cheese place under broiler until cheese is bubblyAny one have a good recipe for French Onion Soup??
INGREDIENTS:


2 onions, thinly sliced


1/4 cup butter


2 tablespoons all-purpose flour


2 (10.5 ounce) cans beef broth


2 1/2 cups water


6 slices French bread, toasted


1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

DIRECTIONS:


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F(220 degrees C). Separate sliced onion into single rings.


In a medium sauce pan saute onions in butter until soft, approximately 20 minutes. Stir in flour and gradually add broth and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.


Meanwhile, toast French bread slices.


Place toasted bread into soup bowls. Pour soup mixture over bread and sprinkle with Parmesan and Swiss cheese. Bake for 10 minutes.Any one have a good recipe for French Onion Soup??
Microwave French Onion Soup


Combine 2 tbsp butter and 1 large onion (sliced %26amp; separated into rings) in 2 qt casserole. Cover. Mic at high 8-11 min or until onions are translucent and tender, stirring once or twice. Add 3 cups hot water, 3 tsp instant beef bouillon, 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, %26amp; dash of pepper. Recover. Mic 6-8min or until boiling. Reduce power to 50%, mic 5 more min. Divide soup into 4 individual bowls. Top each with 1/2 slice toasted bread and 2 tbsp mozza cheese. Sprinkle each bowl with 1 tsp Parm cheese. Mic at high 2-3 min or until cheese melts (rearrange bowls after 1 min).
