Chicken soup recipe????

I have 2 chicken legs and 2 chicken thighs %26amp; a soup mix packet (carrots, parsnip, carrots, celery and broccoli)...i want to make it for my 9 month old daughter. She is able to eat chunky foods and eats EVERYTHING...onions, garlic anything as long as it isn't hot....can you give me a really yummy recipe pppllleeeaaasssseee:)Chicken soup recipe????
Eeeeasy.

Put the chicken in a stock pot ( at least 4 quart) and fill up to an inch from the top with water add about half a sliced onion and let it boil until the chicken is cooked completely ( you cak tell by it's color, and usually it should fall off the bone or is very easily disturbed off the bone.

Remove onions and chicken (also if there is any famy gunk on top this is the time to pas the broth through a seive or scrape it off the top it'll stick to the onions coming out too, you can keep the onions in if you want but I don't, they already did everything they could to the broth's flavor and usually do cause gas in any aged person if left in) and let them cool. If you want to use a soup mix now is the time to do it , but I think you should add more veggies. Thee different veggies should do it- doesn't really matter what you have but here are some simple things to remember about veggies in soup.

Fresh is always better.

Get in three different colors with three different veggies.

Cut them all the same size so they cook even.

I use about 3-4 cups veggies for every chicken in the pot with Bell papers( I like babybells best because they have a lot of concentrated vitamins, red), carrots (baby washed carrots are a great choice for a busy new mom, you can half them or just toss them in) and celery ( about two stalks/ribs).

Also if you want to add noodles or make rice or any other grain with this soup ( a lot of people pass over Barley but it's inexspensive and as tasty as it is nutritious, lentils are also a good choice) this is the time to add those carbohydrates while you're getting ready to debone your chicken which should be cooled by now, let it all cook for 20-30min. ( if you want to have your noodles firm, add them in the last ten minutes or cook them seperately and add them in. If you're using brown rice or lentils, barley or long-grain rice you should let it simmer for an hour or use leftovers)

When you debone the chicken you can decide if you want it shopped in smaller peices or not- it has nothing to do with flavor, in my experience it actually dries out if put in bite sies and if the baby gets used to different shapes and textures of foods that may be better for her hand-eye coordination. Be sure to leave the skin out ( by the way, the fat in the broth is a ';good fat'; so do not take the skin off of your chicken before boiling).

You can add it all together and enjoy now.

When I cook Chicken noodle soup I usually make rice and put in in the oven to get it hot and crunchy then add the broth and sop over the rice to make it sizzle ...a bad idea for ababy but great for mom. Egg noodles take less time to cook and can be easier for babies to handle because they're so soft and short.Chicken soup recipe????
Ingredients:

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup chopped onion

1-1/2 cups chopped celery

1-1/2 cups chopped carrots

1 clove garlic, minced

3 quarts hot chicken broth

(low-salt canned, unless you have homemade)

8 oz. uncooked noodles

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon dried thyme

2-1/2 cups cooked chicken, cut into small pieces

(Or just use what you have)

Heat the oil in a skillet. Saut茅 (lightly fry) the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic in the oil. Add the broth to the pot, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add the noodles, salt, pepper, and thyme and simmer until the noodles are cooked (about ten minutes). Add the chicken and heat through. Makes about one gallon of soup, which is just as good reheated!
Are you kidding me? You give onions, which cause gas, to a nine month old baby?????

Boil and debone the chicken. If you want to use a packet- fine. If not, add fresh vegetables... whatever you like. Season with salt, pepper and fresh or dried herbs. (my favorites are parsley and rosemary)

Nine month old.... I would mash the food very well....adding plenty of broth for moisture.

Your baby will love it. Remember, she was in your womb for nine months. She'll like the same vegetables as you do. Just don't give the baby too many gassy foods or you'll wind up with a fussy little one.
