Would anyone happen to know a good soup recipe? I just got my wisdom teeth taking out and thats really all I can eat. I would like some kind of greens in it but not vegitable soup. Somthing with onions and some kind of meat like chicken or pork would be good. If you could just tell me the recipe that would be great.Soup Recipe.?
This is similar to an Olive Garden soup, its amazing!!
I substituted spinach for kale and milk for cream, and it still tasted great.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
This recipe is also very adaptable to your personal taste. I recommend using Bill Echols Taco Seasoning from this website. Serve topped with shredded Cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and crushed tortilla chips, if you like. I hope you enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
1 onion, chopped
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans
1 (15 ounce) can black beans
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
2 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning
3 whole boneless chicken breasts
shredded Cheddar cheese
sour cream
crushed tortilla chips (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Place the onion, chili beans, black beans, corn, tomato sauce, beer, and diced tomatoes in a slow cooker. Add taco seasoning, and stir to blend. Lay chicken breasts on top of the mixture, pressing down slightly until just covered by the other ingredients. Set slow cooker for low heat, cover, and cook for 5 hours.
Remove chicken breasts from the soup, and allow to cool long enough to be handled. Stir the shredded chicken back into the soup, and continue cooking for 2 hours. Serve topped with shredded Cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and crushed tortilla chips, if desired
mmmmmmm i love soups and never follow recipes but here are some if you want to http://yummysouprecipes.blogspot.com
I start with a big pan of boiling water, 2 stock cubes, pepper and salt then whatever i have in the fridge, it obviously has to taiste right as a combination, i have added the most unlikely ingrediants and they ahve taisted amazing, kids love them too, you simmer for 3 hours so really easy
Potato soup my way
Boil potatoes and onion in chicken broth when almost soft drain off some of the broth and add milk and velveeta cheese and some cooked chicken and if you like it spicy add some green chiles. Also salt and pepper
I think that you canmake great soup by just looking through your fridge and cupbaords. Look for beans-canned or dried, veggies-fresh, canned, or frozen, noodles. Meat of some kind-shredded beef chicken or pork or even ground meats sausage is a good one, or hamburger or meats that have been finely chopped. And base, broth or bullion. Boil it all up, and add some extra seasonings and you'll be set.
2--boneless chicken breast
1--stalk of celery(sliced)
1-onion(cut up)
2-carrots(sliced)
2-cups of noodles.
1--can of chicken broth( not really necessary but add to it)
boil up the chicken 10 minutes. then cube it... put it back into the broth,(at this if you want you can add the canned chicken broth) then add onions, celery and carrots. boil till veggies are done. add noodles..salt and pepper to taste.. sometimes i add a dab of butter at this time.. when noodles are done then your soup is done. enjoy!!! i sometimes add green beans or peas to this recipe...

recipe photo reviews (3) my notes Cutting the pork is easiest using a cleaver or large chef's knife: Slice thick crosswise pieces, stack them, and then cut matchstick-size pieces.

Ingredients1 1/2 ounces medium-size dried shiitake mushrooms (dried forest mushrooms)
1 cup cold water
6 cups low-salt chicken broth
2 (1-inch-diameter 1/8-inch-thick slices) peeled fresh ginger
1 pound fresh Shanghai noodles
3 tablespoons peanut oil or vegetable oil, divided
12 ounces pork butt, trimmed, cut into 2-inch-long matchstick-size strips
1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine (Chinese rice wine) or dry Sherry
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 (6 1/2-ounce) can preserved snow cabbage, well drained
1 cup drained canned bamboo shoot strips (most of one 8-ounce can)
3/4 teaspoon sugar
PreparationPlace shiitake mushrooms in medium bowl. Add 1 cup cold water; let soak until soft, about 1 hour. Drain, reserving soaking liquid. Squeeze mushrooms dry. Cut off stems; discard. Thinly slice caps.
Combine broth, ginger, and reserved mushroom liquid in large saucepan; bring to boil. Cover and reduce heat to low.
Boil noodles in salted water until tender but still firm to bite, about 3 minutes. Drain; divide among 6 bowls.
Heat 14-inch-diameter flat-bottomed wok or heavy 12-inch-diameter skillet over high heat until drop of water evaporates on contact. Add 2 tablespoons oil, then pork, spreading evenly. Cook without stirring 20 seconds; then stir-fry pork until no longer pink, about 2 minutes. Stir in rice wine and soy sauce. Transfer to plate.
Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to same wok (do not clean) over high heat. Add mushrooms; stir-fry 1 minute. Add snow cabbage, bamboo shoot strips, and sugar; stir-fry 30 seconds. Stir in pork and any accumulated juices. Stir-fry 1 minute. Top noodles with pork mixture. Divide hot broth among bowls.
