Top with the chicken. Season the chicken as desired. Cover the baking dish.

Bake for 50 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender. Top with the cheese. Let the casserole stand for 10 minutes. Stir the rice before serving.

Tip: To try it Alfredo, substitute broccoli flowerets for the vegetables and substitute 1/4 cup grated Parmesan for the Cheddar cheese. Add 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese with the soup. Sprinkle the chicken with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

chicken breast recipe starts with two or three chicken breasts, a can of cream of mushroom soup, a can of mushrooms (drained), Instant rice, and cheese.

You will also need a small amount of milk; a couple teaspoons of oil, garlic powder, onion powder a skillet, saucepan, and baking dish.

I start by cutting the chicken up into inch size pieces and placing it in the skillet with the oil and frying it until it turns white or slightly brown. While the chicken cooks, cook the rice according to package directions for 6-8 servings.

When rice is finished add the mushrooms and mushroom soup, garlic and onion powder to taste, and heat to boiling. Add just enough milk to thin mixture to a slightly soupy consistency.

Place half of the rice mixture into the baking dish, layer with the chicken then the cheese and the rest of the rice mixture on top. Place dish in oven at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly.

I have made chicken and rice with the ingredients you mentioned. I first trimmed my boneless chicken breast and then dredged them in flour, then an egg and milk mixture and then again in flour with some salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and grated parmesan cheese mixture and brown them on the stove in some olive oil and butter. After they drained I put my mushroom soup in a baking dish and mixed it with a can of milk and a half a can of water and mixed it until it was a liquid and then added my chicken breasts and baked in a 350 degree oven for 30-60 minutes (depending on the thickness of the chicken and until it ran clear. I would make the instant rice according to the package directions and when ready to eat put your rice on your plate and put you chicken on top and your soup can act like a gravy on top of it all.

Simply and easy and very good to. Enjoy.
Prepare rice as directed on box, add soup to rice, add about 1/2 cup water, stir, put in oven safe casserole dish, lay chicken breast in top, salt and pepper to taste, cover with foil and bake 350 for about 30-35 minutes. Remove foil, top with french fried onions (Durkee or similar) or shredded Monterrey Jack cheese. Bake 5 more minutes
I am a dump cooker. So this is what I have done. Just put some rice in a bowl pour your mushroom soup over it add some milk. Mix until soupy.May have to add more milk or if you want to save milk, add water. spray a baking dish with pam. Dump some rice, mushroom soup mix in. Lay your chicken breast in there. dump the rest on top. You could also add some pepperidge farm on top for crunchiness. Or toast a few pieces of bread, crumble them up, and mix a little melted butter with it. And put on top of your ';casserole';. I hope this helps. Melody
Put the rice on a casserole dish, put the chicken breast cut up over it, and the mushroom soup. Bake it for 15 at 350 degrees.
mix it together. bake it.

eat.
that is a classic recipe on mushroom soup cans. look on the label.
