I had a clear soup at a Sushi restaurant. Does anyone have a recipe?

It was most likely Dashi, which is a simple soup made from seaweed (usually kombu) and bonito (dried fish) flakes. You steep those ingredients in hot water and add a little soy sauce or tamari, then strain through cheesecloth or a clean tea towel. It's very easy to make, and there are a lot of recipes on line. For it to be even better, add some chopped chives and dried mushroom slices to re-hydrate in the broth before eating.

OK, for those who have never eaten it, miso soup is not clear. When you put the miso in, it makes it cloudy.I had a clear soup at a Sushi restaurant. Does anyone have a recipe?
Probably,it was Miso Soup. You can get Miso paste at the health food stores. Just a little miso disolved in boiling water with a few bits of tofu and/or green onion, should do it!
